Hood Museum, Tulips and Green Up!

On our last visit to Downtown Hood we viewed and amazing collection of Globes made by the artist Ingo Gunter.  Each globe showed a collection of data in a visually appealing way.

**Exploring Sculpture FAMILY DAY**

The Hood Museum of Art, May 21, 1:00pm-4:00 pm. Free and open to all. Join us for an afternoon of exploring and making sculpture. The Family Day begins at the Hopkins Center Plaza where you will pick up an outdoor sculpture map and activity directions. After your adventure across campus looking at sculpture, return to the Garage in the Hop to make your own mixed media sculptures to take home. Bring your phone cameras!!! This is a drop-in activity, no sign ups required.

On May first we were very excited to see our tulips had bloomed!  We recorded this event to the Journey North Website. Click on the link to see our information.

We also did a little "Green Up" in the front garden.  With better weather we hope to be able on work on the other school gardens.
