A week of performances: Wild Things and a Reader's Theater

We had fun making masks and practicing for our final performance at Community Meeting.  A great big thanks to Mrs. Bando who created and directed the play for us from Maurice Sendak's book.

Let the wild rumpus begin!

Reader's Lunch

Students who met their Winter and Spring Vacation Reading Challenge goals joined me for a delightful Reader's Lunch where we got to talk about books! There will be a whole school Summer Reading Challenge going home in June.  We hope for a large participation!

Third grade invited us to see their Quiz Circuit Boxes. They had quite an assortment of topics to quiz us on.  Already second graders are thinking of their topic for their boxes next year!
