100th Day of School Celebration

February began with a surprise visit from a ground hog!

 We celebrated the day with a variety of activities involving the number 100! Here students worked together to make the numeral 100.

100th Day Spirit!

In the morning we read books about numbers with buddies, found spelling words in the letters one hundred day, and played a math game finding sums up to and beyond 100.

                                                             In the afternoon we joined the entire school to participate in 100 minutes of activities.  One favorite was to make Valentine's for Vets.  Your children were quite thoughtful in the messages of thanks they wrote on the valentines.  They were delivered to the VA Hospital in WRJ.
