Outdoor Sculptures at the Hood Museum
It was a wet and soggy day but our spirits were high as we explored three outdoor sculptures on the Dartmouth campus. Your children enjoyed the interactive nature of each sculpture. Thanks to the chaperones who joined us.
Discovering different shapes and materials make sculptures. |
We used our bodies to add shapes to the Hexagonal sculpture. |
Working as a group to make the platform move wasn't always easy! |
Back in the studio we used a variety of materials to make our own sculptures. |

As always parents are welcome to join us. We will be outside for most of the visit please have your child dress warmly.

Planting Tulips
Each fall second graders take part in an international science experiment as we plant tulip bulbs. When our tulips emerge and bloom we know that spring has come to our hometown. Please click on the Journey North Link on this blog to follow our journey!
A BIG thank you to the generous families who purchased books for our classroom library at the Scholastic Book Fair!
